PD Rating — 1997 Schedule (injuries 4/1/1997 – 12/31/2004)

Standard rating → occupational variant (Section 4) → occupation adjustment (Section 5) → age adjustment (Section 6), producing the rating formula, e.g. 10.511-40%-380-H-46-44. Multiple disabilities in different regions combine with the Multiple Disabilities Table (Appendix B); same-extremity factors use the "largest plus half the rest" rule.

Find scheduled standards in 1997 Quick Standards. Non-scheduled disabilities are rated by analogy (Section 1.B): enter the disability number of the nearest scheduled disability and your analogized standard. Fractions (e.g. Table 4 partial grip loss: 50% reduction = 1/3) apply after age adjustment.
